Thrilla in Manila - The Wire Mix

      Influenced by Bjork and early Arca records, Greyson Chance's self-produced "Thrilla in Manila - The Wire Mix" packs an electronic punch. With the help on an industrial-backed bass line, Chance's vocal soars over the production. Although much different from the original "Thrilla in Manila", "The Wire Mix" provides its listener with an escape into uncharted territory.

TEMPTATION

B efore the release of his first single "Thrilla in Manila", singer-songwriter Greyson Chance previewed his new stylistic voice within his powerful ballad "Temptation". Released in January 2014, simply as a promo track, the song rose to the likings of fans and critics. Composed at a writing camp in Bali Indonesia, Chance uses the lower tones in his vocal to demonstrate the pain and hurt one can feel from temptation.

Thrilla In Manila

      Greyson Chance has been locked away in a recording studio the past year. Thanks to social media, Chance has been able to describe the neon-lit cosmic surface that surrounds his upcoming LP entitled "PlanetX". A large departure from his previous work, the first official single "Thrilla in Manila" written by Chance and LP partner Gordon Grootheedde, has come to the delight of not only his fans but himself as well. Featuring a flooring disco bass line, funk driven guitars, and of course the 17-year old's vocal, the song delivers the mood and funkiness of "PlanetX" to its listener.
